One server with sixteen or less processing cores can support 64-bit virtual machines (VMs).
Settings that are either physically present or lightly virtualized
Windows Server 2025 User and/or Device Client Access Licenses (CALs) are required; however, these licenses are not included in the package.
Additional license packs are necessary for servers that have more than 16 processing cores or for adding virtual machines (VMs).
Core-based licensing allows for two virtual machines (VMs) whenever all processor cores are licensed.
Be wary of counterfeits; genuine Windows Server software is solely branded by Microsoft.
The activation key is located in the Microsoft Administrative Tenant. If a Microsoft is not already owned, one can be created for you.
